Raising Hope

I just saw this the other day, and I think it has promise.

It does have an apt theme song, though, to say the least. Or is it just because of the song’s title? “Daddy-O” is the opening theme song for Raising Hope.

Raising Hope Theme Song

It is by The Freelance Economy. Unfortunately, I could not find any information on The Freelance Economy for my life. It seems like they’re a band, but they might just be one of those impromptu groups started by the show’s producers or something. I don’t know. Any information will be welcomed.

And either this show does not have that many fans, or FOX is just super strict on copyright issues, but they do not have one decent fan video on YouTube. Although below, maybe it is about copyright issues, some dude uploaded the sequence mirror image. It’s good enough for now. At least we can hear the song.

Lyrics

“Here we go!” ohohoooh

“Daddy-o” ohohoooh

“Birth control, nononoooh.

Let it roll.” ohohoh

Wooo

“Here we go” ohohoooh

Here is the premise:

James “Jimmy” Chance is a 23-year-old living in the surreal fictional town of Natesville who impregnates a serial killer during a one-night stand. Earning custody of his daughter, Hope, after the mother is sentenced to death, Jimmy relies on his unorthodox but well-intentioned family for support in raising the child.

Something about this reminds me of the Big Bang Theory if you know what, tell me below, and if you don’t understand what… go to watch another post. You might be able to discover it, don’t forget to tell me if you like this theme song and see you in the next one.
